Atlas Copco has agreed to accumulate the German industrial pump producer Pumpenfabrik Wangen GmbH from personal equity agency Silverfleet Capital.

เกจ์วัดความดัน in Wangen within the Allgäu region of Germany, Pumpenfabrik Wangen specialises in progressive cavity pumps used mainly in the biogas and wastewater sectors, and twin-screw pumps for food and beverage and cosmetics functions.
Pumpenfabrik Wangen has manufacturing amenities in Germany, a US subsidiary and a worldwide sales and repair footprint. The firm employs 265 people and had 2020 revenues of roughly €46.four million.
“Industrial pumps is a phase that we’ve identified as a strategic fit for Atlas Copco and Wangen Pumpen has leading differentiated expertise with a strong aftermarket enterprise,” said Andrew Walker, president of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique business space. “Wangen Pumpen is a robust model and is known for quality in demanding industrial applications. This acquisition will create a strong foundation for further progress in new industrial pump segments.”
The acquired enterprise will turn out to be a half of the Power and Flow division within Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area.
The deal is predicted to be completed during the second quarter of 2022 and is topic to regulatory approvals.
