The family members of a 16-year-old woman, whose physique was recovered from the ocean at Saltburn beach in North Yorkshire, have expressed their heartbreak over the lack of their “beautiful daughter.” Freya Cayley was found in the water on Sunday, according to Cleveland Police. Emergency companies, including two lifeboats and an air ambulance, rushed to the scene after receiving reports of a body in the water around 2pm.
While they last ’s family, who reside in Easington, released a statement saying, “We are truly devastated to announce the passing of our beautiful daughter Freya ‘Boo’. It just isn’t possible to explain the pain and loss that we as a family feel. Minutes take so much consolation in knowing how loved Freya was by so many.”
The family added, “We will never overcome the lack of our treasured youngster but we’ll try to hold her reminiscence forward and rejoice Freya as life continues for us. We love and miss you Boo but we know you are all the time with us in our hearts, we’ll never actually lose you.”
