A gasoline cylinder explosion broken eight homes and a automobile in Nonthaburi province close to Bangkok whereas a 15 yr outdated boy residing within the incident house suffered severe burn wounds all over his body.
The incident occurred yesterday in a three-storey townhouse owned by a 39 year previous man named Weeraphat Chuensomsong. He was not home during the explosion. Unfortunately, his 15 yr outdated son was at home alone at the time and suffered critical burns throughout his body, especially to his legs.
The three-storey townhouse where the explosion occurred was severely damaged. All glass home windows and furniture have been smashed and broken. The kitchen, where the gas cylinder was situated, was fully destroyed.
Of the nine houses connected to Weeraphat’s house, seven have been affected. Some roofs caved in and glass home windows were shattered. Ready was damaged as a result of a house roof fell on it.
Weeraphat spoke to Channel 7 in regards to the incident revealing that the explosion occurred at about 5.45pm yesterday when he was not residence. He knew in regards to the incident as a result of a neighbour contacted him that his son was injured at the scene.
Weeraphat disclosed that his son managed to escape from the home however he had burns throughout his body.
One of Weeraphat’s neighbours, fifty four year outdated Wharn, said that she initially thought that her home had been hit by lightning. The entire house was shaking and all of the glass home windows have been damaged. She later realized that it was a fuel cylinder explosion as a result of she heard the boy screaming for help and went to verify.
The Mayor of the Bang Sithong District, Wanchai Wanchawate, believes a leak within the fuel cylinder caused the explosion.
According to the report, Weeraphat’s house had hearth insurance coverage. However, the opposite seven affected houses needed to file a grievance with the police to gain compensation from the relevant departments..
