A leading Kenyan warehouse and logistics service provider Cold Solutions, says it will invest USD 70 million to assemble the most important chilly chain facility in East Africa to deal with challenges that face transportation of perishable goods.
Cold Solution’s 15,000 sqm flagship facility in Tatu City Special Economic Zone in Nairobi will be the largest, most superior and environment friendly within the region. The chilly chain facility is flexibly designed to cater for numerous temperature ranges from +26 to -40 C and multiple product ranges, from fresh fruit and greens, to pharmaceuticals and vaccines, meats and poultry, and frozen meals.
