Danish marine pump specialist Svanehøj has received an order from China’s Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding to supply gasoline pump methods for 15 new build dual-fuel LNG container vessels (7000 TEU).

The 30 deepwell gas pumps might be delivered between August 2022 and January 2024.
This is one of Svanehøj’s largest LNG fuel-related orders so far. It can be the second LNG fuel pump methods order that Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding has positioned with Svanehøj in the last year. In July 2021, Svanehøj signed a contract to supply deepwell pumps for 10 dual-fuel LNG container vessels (15 000 TEU).
Svanehøj quadrupled gross sales of its patented deepwell gasoline pumps in 2021, and says there are numerous indications that sales may improve even additional in 2022.
“Until a quantity of years in the past, the use of LNG as a marine gasoline was limited to LNG carriers and smaller ships.
