The 30 deepwell gas pumps will be delivered between August 2022 and January 2024.
This is one of Svanehøj’s largest LNG fuel-related orders to date. It can be the second LNG gasoline pump systems order that Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding has placed with Svanehøj in the final yr. In July 2021, Svanehøj signed a contract to provide deepwell pumps for 10 dual-fuel LNG container vessels (15 000 TEU).
Svanehøj quadrupled sales of its patented deepwell gasoline pumps in 2021, and says there are numerous indications that gross sales might improve even additional in 2022.
“Until a number of years in the past, the use of LNG as a marine fuel was limited to LNG carriers and smaller ships. But we are now seeing a sharp improve in gas pump orders for deep sea vessels similar to container ships and car carriers,” mentioned Johnny Houmann, chief sales officer at Svanehøj. “We were chosen because the supplier of gasoline pump systems for over 50% of the dual-fuel LNG container vessels ordered globally in 2020–21. And หลักการทำงานของเกจ์วัดแก๊ส aim to increase our market share further within the coming years.”
