Valmet opens new service centre in Chile for mining and metals

Valmet is adding a new circulate management options service centre in Antofagasta, Chile, increasing its providing to the mining and metals industry.
The Antofagasta service centre starts operating this month.
The new Antofagasta service centre will provide a full range of move control providers, together with the alternative and upkeep of valves, pumps and third-party tools. The service centre may even function a buyer coaching facility.
The Valmet portfolio for mining, metals and metal includes the Neles, Jamesbury, Neles Easyflow and Flowrox brands.
Valmet entered into the circulate management business in April 2022 when the industrial flow control company Neles was merged into Valmet.
“Over the years, we’ve systematically expanded our circulate management installed base and resolution offering for the mining and metals industry within the region,” says Fabio Maia, head of the South & Central America Area at Valmet’s Flow Control business line. “The new facility permits us to raised respond to the growing demand for buyer help in addition to drive our growth in minerals processing. From Antofagasta, our service groups will be near customer operations in Chile and in Peru.”
