Waukesha Bearings celebrates plant’s fiftieth anniversary

Waukesha Bearings is marking 50 years of manufacturing in Antigo, Wisconsin, USA.

Founded in Waukesha, Wisconsin in 1946, Waukesha Bearings opened its Antigo manufacturing facility in May 1972, with a staff of 3 full-time workers. The manufacturing house was added to accommodate manufacturing for marine bearing systems and other new initiatives awarded to the company.
“We are happy with our success and development to turn out to be a provider of precision bearings to a variety of the largest multi-national firms from our small-town, Northern Wisconsin location,” said Mark Greenlund, plant manager.
To rejoice the 50-year milestone, the company is planning an event on the facility for employees and lengthening its outreach to the group to teach them on the profession opportunities available at the site. “We are in search of folks inside the Antigo community who wish to be part of the subsequent 50 years of success at Waukesha Bearings,” mentioned Greenlund.
